Laura Braibish

    Laura Braibish has been the theatre program director at Corvallis High School since August of 2008.  Before coming to CHS she acted and directed professionally for over 20 years.  Additionally she has taught at SOU’s Center for Shakespeare Studies, University of Louisville, Western Oregon University, Linn Benton Community College, Pima Community College, Chemeketa Community College, Yokota High School, and has been a guest artist and lecturer at numerous colleges and universities. During her time at CHS she has directed numerous shows including ‘The Wiz’ and ‘Once Upon a Mattress’ playing the Queen in the latter. 

    Laura received an MFA in acting from the University of Louisville (1998) and an MAT with endorsements in theatre and language arts from Western Oregon University (2008). She joined the Mr. Spartan pageant this year as the production director and talent advisor.  She is delighted to be working with such an amazing group of young men and women and assures us that this year’s pageant is going to be the best ever!
