Niki Zalesky

Hi, I’m Nicolette Zalesky, but many know me by Niki.  I was born in Iowa City, Iowa and lived there until the end of my 7th grade year.  Then, I moved to Corvallis, Oregon where my dad is the head wrestling coach for the Oregon State Beavers.  I am the oldest of four and have a younger sister and two younger brothers.   This year I am a junior at Corvallis High School.  When I have free time, I love to cook, read and look for interesting places to travel.  I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade, and have started varsity my sophomore and junior years. I participated in choir throughout middle and high school and have recently joined a young life group. Along with playing volleyball year round and other activities I have started volunteering at Avery Square for the Good Samaritan Hospital.  I have always liked being active in my community and Mr. Spartan is another great way to be involved.
